There is a new repress coming out soon if this (pre orders are available), does someone know if it will be exactly the same as this first pressing?

i agree with the other reply. On my copy there are about four noises which sound like digital errors in the mastering. This is the second UR repress I bought recently that has disappointing quality. Shame because the tunes are great.

Got my copy today and was disapointed as it has the same noises on Side-A Amazon as on my original copy.

Hard to believe this is 1992. Incredible record, one foot in rave, one foot in breakbeat, three feet in techno, timeless

Laurent Garnier dropped Amazon at the end of a very very messy night at none other than the Hacienda in Manchester and knowing what the track was when it started to come in was just amazing , a real moment in club history for me... tore the roof off and let the all the lights come on for the duration....WOW moment......

He dropped it as his second from last track at Time Warp 2015 too. He does love that tune does Laurent.

Nice! Probably my favourite memory from of my clubbing days was when Garnier played this as his last tune of the night at The Final Frontier in Club UK. Almost shat me pants?!

I know that Amazon and Jupiter Jazz get most of the hype for this release, but I think Cosmic Traveler should not be overlooked - in fact, for me it's the gem on this EP. The smooth, swinging percussion and proper square bass line are reminiscent of early Mr. Fingers releases, only this track is really dense, perhaps, by comparison. If you like Larry Heard's seminal classic "Can you Feel It", then you'll be all over this slab of techno brilliance. Deep clubs will still swing to this one almost 20 years later. Take a well-deserved bow (again), Mike.

Wholeheartedly agree, Cosmic Traveler is classic Detroit Techno.

Amazon sends shivers up and down my spine whenever i hear it, even 14 years on. If the sheer beauty of this track doesn't give you goosebumps, you might want to check yourself for a pulse.

I could say that Amazon is my favourite set starter/ender, but it's far more than this. It's one of my favourite music masterpiece, along with classical or jazz tunes I couldn't live without. Mike Banks gave so much of himself in this track that he made the first Turning Point of the label. This track is a reference point in art history.

You know it's a special night when the dj pulls out something like Jupiter Jazz, or either of the b-sides of this one. Amazon is the kick in the teeth set opener. one of THOSE records. own, cherish, break out every few monthes dust off, give a listen and get misty eyed over the beauty.

Gotta disagree on Amazon, it’s possibly the best closing track ever and here’s why: pitch black sweaty basement, hours of being pummelled, last track fades, this comes in, lights come on to a sea of filthy, exhausted, happy, tired, wired people. All hands go in the air. Beats kick in. Lights go off. Beat fades for good. That bass line comes back in for the final time. Lights back on. “Back to mine?” is ushered. THAT is why it’s the perfect closer ????

This EP had a big influence to poducers all over the world. Tracks like "Jupiter Jazz" are favourites for 4 Hero and of DJ's/producers like the same calibers
