Short intro

But if you've ever attended his Good Times parties at the Notting Hill Carnival, you would know better they range all over the place, with a particular emphasis on vintage soul and rare groove, and this 30th anniversary celebration mix does exactly the same thing. Norman Jay MBE is a clubland legend, a leading figure in the rare groove scene during the late 80s and, along with brother Joey Jay, the creator of the Good Times sound system which became an institution at the Notting Hill Carnival. Strut celebrated 30 years of Good Times with a collection of anthems and rarities. Jan 2011. contact, help. Contact Norman Jay MBE.
