Short intro

Rush Hour - Jane Wiedlin. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. Rush Hour is a song by Go Go's guitarist Jane Wiedlin, taken from her second album, Fur. It was backed by a fellow album track, the percussive, melancholy End of Love. The 12-inch single featured an extended remix by Rusty Garner and an instrumental version. Rush Hour was Wiedlin's most successful single, reaching number 9 on the US Billboard Hot 100, number 12 on the UK Singles Chart, and number 8 in Ireland. The song is upbeat and features a mainly programmed backing, with an electric guitar. Rush Hour was Jane's first and only Top 40 hit outside of the Go-Go's, peaking at number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the summer of 1988. Emerging from the GoGo's with her own self-styled themed, Rush Hour became one of the hits of the late Eighties, - and the theme for the movie Licence To Drive. Released in July 1988, Wiedlin captured much of the GoGo's energy and brought this through to take Rush Hour to number 9 in the US Billboard charts. It remains one of the signature tracks for a decade where pop ruled the dancefloors. View wiki. Jane Wiedlin is a guitarist and founding member of The Go-Go's. This is her biggest hit as a solo artist, and was released on her second album. Says Wiedlin, I was working with my friend Peter Rafelson, who was a great songwriter and producer. We had a great chemistry going on for writing. We would write our songs really quickly, definitely under an hour, which I always think is the mark of a good song - when it just flows out of you quickly without a bunch of struggle. So then I start playing around in my head with the idea that it could be a song called 'Rush Hour. And so I went to him with the title, and we just whipped that puppy out. I like that song a lot, though. Jane Wiedlin - Rush Hour. On this page you can download song Jane Wiedlin - Rush Hour in mp3 and listen online. Pop-Rock Soft Rock Ballad. Jane Wiedlin.
