It has a guyed mast 306. 6 m 1,006 ft tall, bringing the antennas to a height of 540 m 1,770 ft above sea level. It was built, by the Independent Television Authority ITA, in 1957 and is now. Transmitter is the first studio album by American rock band Spiraling. It was released in 2002 as a self release by the group. Reviewed on CD Baby as the best new pop record I have heard in years. Spiraling plays high-energy, rocking pop songs with delicious vocals and awesome lyrics that are damn near impossible not to sing along to. Tom Brislin: keyboards, vocals. Bob Hart: bass guitar, track 1, 3, 4, 6-12. Nicholas D'Amato: bass guitar, track 2, 5. Marty O'Kane: guitar, track 5. Album starts at BPM, ends at BPM 0, with tempos within the -BPM range. A HYPNOTIC ALLURE seemingly organic in presentation. Industrial in its march. Mysteriously involving. Units of time vibrate (as well as invade) liquefied air - not unlike Clinton Williams at times. Cleverly utilizing found sounds, analog sequencers, oscillators and the like - shaping dark, glitchy howling moodscapes infused with ghostly guitar, CAN-esque drum beats driving minimal expansive textures - oh, the explorational beauty of it all. Danger music for our time of fear, uncertainty and doubt. I find the purposefully placed static on a couple songs annoying (from an audiophile perspective) but not distracting enough to take this whole goodness away. After all there is static all around us - if you care to listen. The pair from The Future Sound of London could not sound any better. I could listen to this all day (I'm on my third run through of the album in a row as I write); hope they keep it up because I have all gundam day....
highly recommended. surprised more attention to this isn't being made. a kraut rock achievement without being derivative. propels the genre forward.
